It was a proud moment for me. She beat the entire Dora the Explorer game for the GC.

hey congrats bro!! always good to start 'em off early
Congrats you must be proud. I would recommend the Hello Kitty game for her.
Congrats to your daughter! I think it was either Super Mario Bros. 3 or Chip N' Dale's Rescue Rangers on the NES for me. Don't remember how old I was, though.
Start 'em young that's what i say. Hoo-ray for your daughter.
yay! just glad it wasn't GTA:SA or God of War

Actually for a 4 year old that would be pretty impressive, adult content aside.Originally Posted by poloplayr

I beat my first game when I was like 9 or 10....
Im pretty sure it was Duck Tales.
Vectors, pixels & polygons
Thanks everyone, she was also quite proud, it was a pleasure to see. I am not sure what her next undertaking will be.
As many of you have noted, it helps recall great trips down memory lane. Sadly I cannot recall what the first game I beat was. My first system was a Coleco Gemeni when it was out, so it would have been an Atari 2600 game. Maybe some time it will come back to me.
That's great. Congrats to you and your daughter.
That was the first game I beat also!Originally Posted by Truffle

Anyway, it's cool that Stonecutter's daughter beat a game. I look forward to the day that I have a child that, not only plays games, but beats them...
