I've got 728 unique games for consoles (no PC/Mac stuff included), but some guys on this board have about that many just for the Atari 2600.

I can't wait to see some of their numbers.

Dunno...somewhere between 750 and 1000 I suppose, for various systems, with vcs and nes making the bulk of it...

I think the last time I added it all up it was around 2000.... That was about 6 months to a year ago.

probably close to 1000 original games. Last I checked i was over 900.. If I count cd backups then somewhere around 1800.

I've got 20 consoles and about 375 games amongst them (from 1 TG 16 game to 75 VCS games).

After I add in my handhelds and 8-bit stuff I top 400 (on 27 machines - although I have a lot of pirated 8-bit stuff I don't count which would easily put me over 1000).

It's funny comparing it to the collections here though. It's miniscule. But the people I know don't come here so they're impressed nonetheless

To shed some light on this, let me give you a few systems that I can definitely estimate.

I have over 500 original PSX games.
I have over 500 Sega Genesis games.
I have over 250 Dreamcast games.
I have over 400 Atari 2600 games.
I have over 500 NES games.

I collect for every system, and I collect imports for many of them too. I have stacks of Famicom and PC Engine games that I haven't even had a chance to try out yet; and if you start counting diskette games, in some dark closet in my house there are probably 1000 of those.

It's a sickness. Someday I'll have a "real" count but for now the pictures will have to do - which I desperately need to re-do because my game room pictures are now 18 months old!

As of this moment, around 101 games. I take YoshiM's credo to heart, most of my collection is lean and mean, the most I have for any system is the NES, with 39 carts. And! I'm nearing the point where I could collect a few more games and probably be satisfied with it all. Or do I not know any better and am only scratching the surface of this collector mentality?

3,477 unique games for 35 console and handheld cartridge and disc systems. Keeping your collection on a PDA does have its advantages. Instant totals are one, mobile access to your lists is the next, not buying duplicates is another. I highly reccomend them to anyone with a growing collection...I would be lost without it.

Highlights for me are:

719 NES games
470 Genesis games (all but 6 are boxed)
435 2600 carts
212 Saturn games

My gameroom is quickly running out of space and I am due a gameroom photo update as well. Goodwill been berry, berry good to me!

Being as I had to leave some of my collection in Oregon for a while when I moved, I also have to estimate. I know I'm over 600, but I'm not sure how close I am to 700. Definitely under 1000 though. I'd guess right near the 700 mark including PC games. Consoles only....right around 600.

I think I am sitting at approximately 2,750 game. And I think I own somewhere around 150 systems (including dupes). I am currently working on a database for my collection and getting them all into my Palm like Goodwill Hunter. Though I tell you it is really a odd feeling getting out your PDA at a Goodwill store to check and see what games you have while the old people give you funny looks. ah well =]
