Anyone getting a second DS system?

I've got over 20 DS games, but only one DS. I have spent all week playing Mario Kart DS. However, I have more games that I would like to play against people so I'm thinking of buying an extra system. Anyone else doing this?

As soon as the christmas season is over. Andi (my wife)plays so much zoo keeper. It would not even be that bad if she could just remember to charge it. It seems like everytime I get it its out of juice. It just occured to me that is probably why she is not using it!

I am kind of torn on what to get though. The kart DS bundle would be cool just to have another copy of that game for multiplayer but I am just not into flames on my game systems.

I'll most likely get a second DS sometime down the road, but not so my friends can play against me. I'll just want it as a backup, but I'd say that won't happen until the thing drops to the $50 range.

With all the different colored DS systems coming out, I really want a second one. I've really taken a liking to the red DS. Maybe when the price comes down a little bit I'll get another one.

I got lucky and located a pink Nintendos DS at ToysRus. That was my system color of choice, since the Japan systems came out.

Edit: I should've noted, I have a launch silver system.

I had 2 DS's for a month due to a warrenty replacement. (i kept the damaged one for a while before i sent it back) and that was a great time.

So once i play off my 360 (march 06) then i'm thinking about getting a second DS. MP is just too much fun, but my friends are too cheap to get their own.

I already have 3 of them:

1 Launch Model
1 Nintendog's Pink
1 Nintendog's Blue

And I have the Mario Kart Red Bundle on reserve...also keeping an eye out for an Electric Blue since the one I won on eBay never made it to me.

I wouldn't call you "lucky". The Japanese pink DS looks so much better than that fugly Nintendog's pink DS.

I've also been thinking about picking up another DS system. It would be handy to have an extra for when friends come over for multiplayer. Got to love that single-cart multiplayer action!

I was thinking of getting the Mario Kart DS bundle but decided not to, besides I already got the Mario Kart game without it. So I'll pass.

But I am now thinking of getting myself a gold one to go with my silver one.

Well I have one and my girlfriend has one. And we live together so thats like me having two DS's...sorta.
Bomberman 2 player...yes!
I'd have every variation of DS system if I could afford it...so yeah, get another DS!

I got my $99 DS from Target today... we had a circular that advertised the DS at $99 and the electronics dude adjusted the price.

No black friday mess involved (thank goodness).

After the holidays their will be 4 DS's in our house... there's gonna be a whole lotta touchin' going on at Casa de AP

I think lucky was to mean fortunate to have found what usually gets swiped clean off the shelves as soon as they're put up... From what I've been able to gather locally, it constitutes lucky.
