Well, someone must like these console trivia games, or I guess they wouldn't make them.

The idea of playing a trivia game with questions like "how many times did Chandler order a double chocolate late with vanilla sprinkles at Central Perk and *not* get a biscotti with it?" seriously makes me want to vomit though.

Well, I love the show but agree this is totally unneccessary. It just smacks as one last effort to make money from the empire that is Friends. With that said, I'll probably pick it up if I ever find it for under $10

Some of the Friends DVDs actually have a trivia game (probably something like ten questiions) so you can play that a bit if you absolutely have to play a Friends trivia game. And you save yourself the humiliation of a gaming friend coming over and seeing that you got the Friends video game

it seems whenever a discussion of the Guy Game comes up anywhere on the net, this is the main point that people make against the game. I seriously don't understand it though (for guys of age at least). Why *wouldn't* people want to see naked chicks in video games? It's okay to for people to download mountains of porn off the net and watch awful soft-core porn on late night cable but people throw a stink fit when tits are in their video games. Doesn't make any sense considering how popular breasts are in the United States.

Because without the nudity, the game isn't good enough to stand on its own. In my opinion. The nudity was the primary selling point, but there's no point in spending that much money JUST to see nudity in a video game. That's just my opinion though that it's a bad game. I think most people agree though. There's no problem having nudity if it's a bonus, but there is a problem if it's replacing actual gameplay.

Yeah, I suppose that's true. Makes you wonder why more women don't do it, since it's such easy money. Dignity is overrated. Having men in palm of your hand is much more empowering.

I was at Wal-Mart today and looked to see if it was there...just out of curiosity. They didn't have the Friends game but they did have The Bible Game (there's a separate thread going on about that game). No, I didn't buy it or any games today.

QoF and I are doing our game trawl tomorrow. I'll see about remembering to count the number of copies of this we spot. I don't think it will reach double figures (and we will probably go to 30+ stores).

The one piece of Friends trivia that I remember is that Chandler peed on Monica's leg after she got stung by a jellyfish. You can use that little tidbit to your advantage, because I know everyone here is going to get a copy of the game.
