Default Which 'Not for Resale DEMO' DS carts exist?

    Hello everyone,

Sorry if this belongs in 'Prototype Central'. I thought id give it a go in Video Gaming first..

Anyway, does anybody have a complete list of which 'Not for Resale' DS carts exist? You know the kind which would be in shop display pods and such..

I know theres a Yoshi Touch N Go! cart (I believe pookninja has one) Which I would be more than interested in buying from him. :P

Im trying to keep a list of everything DS related and I've got every US, European and Japanese release documented, so I thought i'd go for Misc. bits and bobs..

Anyway, any information would be appreciated and added pictures would be fantastic.

    Thanks,

    Joe.

Well, I've seen Super Mario 64 DS and Wario Ware:Touched Demos. That is the only 2 US releases I know of, although I'm sure Nintendogs will get a demo.

Nintendogs has a demo... I just played it yesterday

I have also witnessed a Meteos, Polarium, Pac Pix, Feel the Magic, and Kirby Canvas Curse demos. And yes, they were demos, not full games (the title screens always said "demo version" on them somewhere)

I own some Demos for the DS.

    These Demos exist:
Metroid Prime Hunters - First Hunt (USA) (sold with DS and in Europe VIP PAK different package and manual)
Metroid Prime Hunters - First Hunt (Europe Multi 5) (sold with DS)
    Project Rub (Europe Multi 6)
    Super Mario 64 DS (USA)
Wario Ware Touched! (Europe Multi 5) (Europe VIP PAK)

The Legend of Zelda - Twilight Princess (Preview Trailer) (USA)

And here a different Wario Ware Touched! Demo, which I won for some days:
Wario Ware Touched! (Europe) (Game Convention Demo?)

And I know that a Yoshi Touch and Go (Europe) Demo exist. But I still search it.

For pictures click on the Games.

Not For Resale have only these from my Demos:
Super Mario 64 DS & the second Wario Ware Touched! which I get soon.

For the most part in EB Games and Gamestop, though Kirby only showed up in Best Buy and Wal-Mart (which was useless, because the little kiddies had already destroyed the touch screen). Kirby seemed to only have the tutorial mode in place, while the other games were limited to a standard one player mode. Nintendogs had a five minute time limit to play with three different dogs.

No, these are all Not for Resale, sorry. And I have no doubles, all a bit different, other Lable, Manual or Box. All are for my own collection. I collect Rare Videogames. So I am happy, that I get so much different Demos for the DS.

Sure these are Rare. I have found only one Super Mario 64 DS on eBay since month with this Not For Resale text. And its no sticker, its printed on the lable. And the game is too different, because its only a Demo. Never found another one from this game yet. And many other Demos from the DS too Rare.
Common is only the Metroid Demo, because it was sold with the DS. The Wario Ware Touched! Demo is too common, because it was sold with the VIP Pak in Europe through the Nintendo Star Catalog.
The second Wario Demo which I get soon, is much Rarer, because its a different lable and the seller told me its from the Game Convention.
Project Rub is too very Rare, but I have see 2 on eBay since month. So maybe it a bit easier to find. Not sure, maybe it was only luck that a second appear on eBay.

You can add Meteos to that as well. We just got a demo one in for our kiosk,

Nice. Is this an USA or European Version?
I have see in a store an European Version. This contains only 2 playable Stages. One where you fly/fall down and collect items and the other where you walk. And it contain too some movies from the gameplay. I think it was too 2 differents, but not sure anymore.

And when you like to sell it, tell me.

Today I have get my second Wario Ware Touched! Demo with different lable. Both are the same Demos, just different lable. The right cartridge is much rarer then the left.

Left = VIP Demo from Nintendo European Star Catalog
    Right = Game Convention Demo

No, not me. I still trying to get my first Super Nintendo Prototypes. I hope they arrive soon.

And I have never see a Prototype for the Nintendo DS yet. So maybe there exist no more Prototypes? Maybe Nintendo has stop to produce Prototypes, because noone has send them back?
Or they send them now only to people, who send them back to Nintendo, so noone will ever get one again.

I've practically begged the Nintendo Rep for the demo carts whenever he comes to my store to change them out... no go though. He says that Nintendo requires them back and he's accountable for them. Doesn't mean I'm going to stop asking.

I own a Super Mario 64 DS DEMO from USA.
But I think they used here in germany too sometimes USA Demos. This one for example. Other Demos are European Demos, but Super Mario 64 DS is always an USA Demo in stores here in germany when I not wrong.

By me it was luck. I found it on eBay together with a Nintendo DS. I already own a Nintendo DS, so the price was to high for me with Nintendo DS together. I write an E-Mail to the winner from this auction and offer 50,- Euro for the Super Mario 64 DS Demo. I write him, that I collect Demos and Special Videogames. So when he don't like Demos he can buy the Full Version from this game with my 50,- Euro.
The winner write back, that his son must first test the Demo and see if he like it. After he get it and test it he write me back, that his son don't like this Demo (maybe, because it plays only 10 minutes and reset then to the titlescreen and you can't save). So he has sell it to me for 50,- Euro.
First I have think its a bit to much and maybe I would get it cheaper, when I offer less then this. But as collector I have think better a good offer which is to high, then a bad offer and never get this one.
But now after read in more Boards and look on eBay often I think it was a great deal. Never found any other on eBay yet.
