    Default NES Rip-Off

At the Flea Market today I picked up a Power Player Super Joystick. It looks like a N64 controller that you hook up straight to the T.V. It also comes with a gun and an extra pad that looks like a sega pad. It has 78,000 nes games on it. That's right 78,000 of course many are repeats like super mario bros the usa , japan, european, canadian, pygmy version, etc. It even has a picture of star wars (darth maul fighting OB1) . Are these guys going to get sued or what?
Anyway it was $40.00 and I got one thinking , heck one day it may be a collectors item. You never know

Super Joy III joystick.. has a famicom port on the back, comes with a gun and a genesis type 2nd pad.. back of the box has a picture of a SUV, helicopter, Space station, and some war war II planes. I see em a flee markets all the time for $20.00 I got mine for $13.00.. It actually has more like 60 games with 78,000 name changes and hacks. It's cool for the fact that it can be operated by batteries.

It's just one of the famiclones you will run up on.. you got ripped off if you payed $40.00. Take it back to the dude tomorrow and ask for the $20 he owes you back.

Someone said awhile back that they sell these things for like $12-15 bux new at Big Lots or some closeout type store. There are tons of different versions but they are all basically the same, and of the same quality. I have one that I paid $5 for, which is an N64 controller, Snes pad, and gun. I think my box has MvsC & Power Stone pics on it. I tried it out once, then put it back in it's box. It's neat, but not something I'd want to use much. They break very easily.

I get out plenty.. I just hate to see people coming in here getting taken advantage of. Don't feel bad, someone will be in here tomorrow talking about how they got a Chrono Trigger for $40.00.

There's a Chrono Trigger, FF2, and FF3 sitting at my local game store, right now for $34.99 each. I'm almost tempted to buy, with their buy 2 get one free deal, but that's still more than they're worth to me.

I paid $70 for Chrono Trigger back in 1995. And I'd do it again.

I actually want one of these 76,000 in 1 things...just for the WTF?!?! factor. Problem is, around here, they are selling them for $70!!!!

I got the one from Big Lots (the 12 in 1) for Christmas...that was worth it for me because I've always wanted Baloon Boy for the NES, but have never found it, and a version of it is on that controller

I'm going to make more of an effort to get some of these controller sstems...I just think they are funny, I kind of like them

Here's an entire site about NES/Famicom clones: http://famiclone.emucamp.com/

There's alot of them out there, but since they're illegal in the US (and quite often enforced), we don't see many of them.
