    Default NES Toploader flicker problem

    Howdy,
I got a top loader that is malfunctioning.
When I put in a game and power it up I get looping/flickering images.
The image loops between the first power up screen for that game (title screen or whatever it may be) and garbled versions of that. It's a fairly fast loop/flicker. If I press and hold reset I can get it to hold the current image whether it is garbage or the title screen; no input works. There is no sound,I have tried many games, and much cleaning of connectors.
Any help would be great. Thanks for your time already.

Have you tried adjusting the games while they were in the toploader? I've had games give me wierd garbaled images and I would slightly tilt them while they were in the top loader.

    Hope this helps.

I kind of let this topic die, but I was doing some house cleaning and I came across this darn system again. I was wondernig if anybody had some more ideas on what I could try to get it working again. I tried wiggling the carts, but with no success. Thanks again.
