That's, what, just over £20? Sounds about right to me, though it's always worth trying to haggle if you can.

$55 AUD is about $42 in USD, which I think is WAY too much for a Dreamcast with a controller. I think you should pay about $15 (or about $20 AUD) before shipping for one. That's my two cents, I could be totally wrong.

If anyone can find me a US Dreamcast for $15 + postage, I'll pay it in a shot (or trade it for my spare PAL one?).

Since your not looking to buy or sell specifically on this site, this belongs in Video Gaming.

Man, you aussies are getting screwed by the Dreamcast fairy. I can walk around the local flea markets and find at least one or two dreamcasts for 15 dollars. Hell, at yardsales they can be even cheaper, like someone just slapped a sticker on it for 25 cents.

Prices on PAL and NTSC systems are diffrent.
    Isnt Australia PAL?

I.g here you can sell a PAL version of Super Mario Bros for NES for about $10 - $20, but a NTSC version might be sold for $3 - $5 (if not less).

So if you see a PAL dreamcast to $15.00, tell me :P

Sounds like a decent enough price to me, though theres always room for haggling... especially on the games ($30 for 5 games is more reasonable, unless theyre uber late releases like shenmue and rez).

if you feel comfortable with the price buy it. The dreamcast has a lot of great games
12 US SMS games to go
74 US DC games to go

    Now Playing:
    Guild Wars:
    (W/Me Furby Slayer)
    (Mo/R Goat Herder Teo)

$AUS8 a game is a pretty damn good deal to be realistic. On the rare occasions you see any at all in pawn shops here, they're at least $AUS10, more likely 15-20 (Here = Perth).

As far as the consoles themselves, Cash Converters charge closer to $70-80 a throw for DCs, with one controller.
