Favorite ASTEROIDS game?

Not fair that you can't vote for two; Asteroids Deluxe and Blasteroids both rock!

I know, right? The original will always be a classic, but Blasteroids just made the game more fun for me.

A few weeks ago I bought Asteroids for the Playstation, but just got around to playing it yesterday. I really don't like it as much as the 2600 version. While it looks great, the loading times and save screens really bog the game down. After a game over, you can't immediately begin playing the game, which is annoying. The added controls and shiny graphics really detract from the simplicity of the original game. Anyway, just thought I'd share.

I gotta say Asteroids Deluxe, but I'm a bit biased since that's one of the machines in my garage.

The 7800 version with the starplex controller is the best. Get two starplex controllers and you are set for some great 2-player action. The starplex controller makes some games so much better, games like Gravitar & Space Invaders, it's a must own.

How can people vote for the 2600 version over the 7800 version? They must not own the 7800?
