Default Two Quick Questions About The Nomad

    Hey,

My Nomad's rechargeable battery pack is dead. No problem, of course, just stick the AC Adapter into it and charge it up again. My question is, however: How long is it supposed to charge? I've had it charging ever since this morning, and the little light on the top is still on. Does the light turn off whenever the pack is fully charged?

Also, I read somewhere that the Nomad's backlight can be turned on or off. However, there doesn't seem to be any special button or anything for that purpose. Can somebody tell me how one would go about doing this?

    Thanks in advance!

    Default AC

Check the AC Adapter, must be (MK-6102, 6103) or (MK-2103, MK-1619)

Yeah, I've got an MK-2103, so that's fine.

The backlight cannot be turned off as far as I know. For an AC just use a Genny model 2 AC adapter.

    And, as a bonus answer....

IF your Nomad Rechargable pack is dead and will not hold a charge anymore, they have the batteries that go into it at Radio Shack

It's not that pretty to open, you will have to pry the two sides apart and break some weak glue mounts, but with a little soldering skill, you can revive it!

...or for the non-technical people, a Game Gear battery pack will work too..

NOW IF ANYONE COULD TELL ME HOW TO GET THE NOMAD APART.... I have the 5 phillips screws out but that *#$(@&$#!($ing locking screw....
