    Default Grandia 3 by Square-Enix!!!

I did a search for Grandia 3 and no one had posted this:

    http://squarenet.gamigo.de/main.php?...n-news&id=1559

Look at those high-res screenshots (from a Japanese mag)! I read about this on a few fan sites. Looks terrific, doesn't it?

I liked Grandia 1 much more than 2, but this looks (stylistically) like it has some real potential.

But isn't Grandia Xtreme technically the third installment?

I like how Square are resurrecting all the old Enix games but adding their expertise into the mix! Very nicely done!

Never know - There may even be a Bust A Groove sequel made with a Square twist...!

I still need to play the second one... and the other one, Xtreme, I think.

For Grandia 2, some people say the PS2 version is inferior to the dreamcast (glitches I think)

I know you're looking for more DC games to buy, plus the DC version comes with a soundtrack I believe

    Just thought i'd tell you.

I would still buy the DC version. The PS2 version has some of the worst slowdown I've ever seen (especially in towns).

Anyway, Grandia 3 looks great...can't wait for some more info.

I've always been lukewarm on the Grandia series, but this one looks cool. Maybe it will change my mind.

Indeed. Square Enix owns about 15 percent of Gamearts stock, so they call some of the shots now.

Oh hell yes! I loved the first 2 and have yet to play the 3rd.

I'm just glad GA is developing. I would have been pissed if this was another squarenix game.

The PS2 one is extended (Has extra's the DC doesn't) but it does slow down abit in places, and there are one or two weird glitches which the PC version also suffers.

The DC version is the better of the three. It's worth buying the DC version as well as the PS2 one, so you get the best of both worlds

Grandia 1 was mediocre, but Grandia 2 was INCREDIBLE. I hope this one turns out to be as good.

I'd say both have average story lines, but the battle system is by far my favorite in any RPG. Blows the tits off of Final Fantasy's boring fight system.

I'd go for the DC Grandia 2 for VGA alone! This sequel might be reason enough to break out Grandia 2 again.

There's no plans for NA release yet, but I'm sure Square will bring it over.

I agree with wise I thought Grandia 1 was decent at best but Grandia2 on Dreamcast was a very good RPG nice clean graphics a good story (not the best but still good) and controlled perfectly on the DC wich the game was originally made for.
I rented the PS2 version when it came out and yes the translation was bad slow down and a couple major glitches during battle It may be true that the PS2 has some extra content but I didnt bother playing through the PS2 version. To be honest that port turned what was a very good RPG into a barely tolerable mediocre RPG at best in large part because of the sloppy port :/

Im definitely looking forward to Part 3 if it is being developed my Gamearts and published by Square/enix

Also I never played Grandia Extreme since it had so many average to bad reveiws I was wondering is it really that bad?
