Default game boy singer izek sewing machine cartridge

    http://www.theapplecollection.com/iM...nger-IZEK.html

saw the cart only for this today in a pawn shop. is it something that's considered hard to find at all? (i'm not sure how popular the sewing maching itself was) i tried looking for it in the rarity guide, but since it's not an actual game i wouldn't be surprised if it wasn't there. thanks in advance.

Indeed... very cool. Never knew about this.

I just don't understand why it needs a Game Boy? Just seems unneccisary...

The Game Boy is used as the interface to program the sewing patterns. I guess you could probably do it with an LCD unit on the machine itself, but hey, GBs are pretty cheap anyway.

If you hadn't said you saw it at a pawn shop, I would've thought it was a hoax.

The singer cartridge w/machine was in a small arcticle (like 30 words and a small picture) in nintendo power. I imagine it to be super rare as,if I remember right, it was like $350ish.

That's funny I was at a family get to gether recently and ran out of thing to talk about with this old lady I didn't even know so I told her about the Gameboy Sewing Machine attachment.

how would this, the icard race information cart and the glucoboy stand in terms of being considered part of a complete game boy collection?

Interesting. I'm assuming it's a Game Boy Color game because of the black cartridge?

But since it's a black cartridge, it also means it's backwards-compatible with regular Game Boys. Which, to be honest with you, really wouldn't work in this kind of situation.

I remember when this came out. Their website promised a free demonstration at any authorized Singer dealership, which sounded pretty neat to me. I actually convinced this girl that it was vitally important to our mental health that we see a Game Boy sew a pair of mittens before we died, and we set off on a weekend-long adventure to every Singer dealership in Southern Nevada. Every single one.

None of them had the thing.

That girl ended up moving to New York and cheating on her boyfriend, who has since - through bizarre circumstances - become one of my best friends.

So when will this end up in the rarity guide? Mods this should be moved to the database forum to be researched and so it doesn't get lost.

Any news on this thing showing up in the guide at all, that seems to be pretty rare at the least. Joe have you seen this topic yet?
