BUMP
Theres a vintage game store on south noland road in Independence. just south of I- 70 about 1/2 mile cant think of the name right off hand tho. ON the west side of the road in a shopping center.
I was also wondering what the best way would be to get the rarity guide onto a Pentium 1 Notebook with Win95. What would you guys recommend?
Is that the one next to the pool hall type of place? Was the name Game XChange?Originally Posted by way2cool

There are not many, sad to say. I have looked around since I moved here and the two you mentioned are the largest. There are quite a few locations for GameCo, and only two Vintage Stocks (that I know of). Yep, game shops are kind of dry around here it seems.
- Edit
I believe that the PDF files are still here on the site somewhere. Have a look around or ask Joe if they are still available. I have a few saved, so let me know which ones you're looking for and I'll see if I have them.
What have you done America?
Where can I find PDFs of PSX, NES, SNES?
I have the NES and SNES, PM me or post your email address and I'll send them to you.

Anyone know of pawn shops or goodwills in the vicinity of any of those game stores?
Apparently there arent any.... Damn...
If you're looking for independently-owned gamestores, there really aren't any, sadly.
There are a bunch GameStops, some GameRushes, a few EBGames, a couple GameXChanges, nothing that you can't already find around Omaha, I'd assume.
There were a ton of great thrift stores near me in the late 90s, but, unfortunately, they caught onto that whole "Antique-Roadshow Craze" and now the stores are stocked to the ceiling with piles and piles of over-priced crap.
The pawn shops, at least in my area, have gone down the shitter as well. $15-20 for GBA games and $15-20 for mostly budget-release PS2, XB and GCN games.
It'd help to know where you are going. Lenexa, Independence, Kansas City (proper), St. Joe. There are several thrift stores around, not sure about the pawn shops tho'.Originally Posted by Big Papa Husker

We will go through St. Joe to get to Kansas City. I am also looking for thrifts too.
There is a Game XChange in St. Joe @ 1401 A N. Belt Hwy. Also the one in Independence @ 4474 S.Noland Rd. In that same parking lot there is a thrift store, but I have only found one thing there. If you continue down that road (left out of the parking lot) there is another thrift on the left side a few miles down the road.
Off I-29 & Vivion Rd. there is a Good Will, then up North Oak there is another about four miles on the left and two pawns on the same road a little further up the road. If you head East on Vivion Rd. you'll run in to Antioch Mall and there is a Game Co. in there.
Vintage Stock is on Metcalf around 93 rd, then if you go right on 95 th across from the mall there is a Game Co.

Thanks for your help. Im leaving after class tomorrow so if you guys think of any before tomorrow afternoon, please post them here.
About to leave for class... anyone have any more places I should add to my list?
UPDATE: I am heading down there later this week and was wondering if there were anymore places I should check out. Any thrifts or pawns that sell games would be good.
