    Default Replacing a bezel

No, I didn't see anything specific on arcaderestoration., so don't go there.

Anyway, I picked up a bezel for my WWF Superstars cab (the old one was generic). How do I replace it? Do I go through the front or do I have to call someone over to move it and go through the back?

    What Chunky said.

You should be able to remove the front plexi and just snatch out the old one and drop in the new. You might have to undo the control panel (tension locks just under the control panel) to get the plexi out.

Some games (e.g. Nintendo cabs) have a little bolt toggle dealie in the back that pushes the plexi flush with the front, but IIRC, you should be able to get the WWF bezel out through the front.

I only have two upright cabs, but both of them install through the front. Release the control panel clamps, and the plexi justs lifts out.

Ok, I can't get this out. The joystick panel won't come forward. I tried going through the back to see if something was holding it in, but I can't get the lock to turn. I'm guessing that lock is rusted on the inside. I felt up through the coin slot and there seems to be some sort of bracket that I can feel, but can't see (my heads to big to fit inside). Any other ideas????

Most of mine have "clasps", like what might be on the front of a trunk or something. They flip open, and then ... boy, tough to describe.

    look at this picture http://www.arcaderestoration.com/gra...semble6big.jpg

yours should be lowers on a hinge like that. see the claps(what Flack says) on the inside side, those are whats locking your control pannel from falling forward. unlock those, lower the panel forward, and you have access to your glass ro pick it up and remove it.

    Thanks guys, got it out.

Unfortunately, my replacement marquess is too big. I tried trimming it down, but it's simply too tall. Not sure what to do now. I may just have to take off some of Hulk Hogans head. It's about all I've got.
