Inspired by our friends in Michigan. I don't think we'll have as great a turn out but tell me I'm not all alone in the Great White North. EH! *cracks a beer and reaches for a doughnut*

Well, I might as well grab a seat, and a donut too, eh?
Maybe we should meet down the Hortons?

So, when does the hockey game start?
Cold enough for ya today? -26 with the wind chill I hear...

Well, I'm not exactly Canadian, but I DO live in Central New York, and right here we do get clobbered by Canadian-based snow every winter...

How long until the cup came back to the Great White North ?
Oh eBay! you are such a pain, I am addicted to you like crack cocaine. You offer things I cannot find in stores,You are the pimp, and we are all your whores.
Hey, I'm here too! I'd love to go grab a coffee with a donut at Tim's, but it's too damn cold today.
*pulls up a chair* Damned Ontario snowfall! Too bad Canada is slightly bigger than Michigan or we could throw a get together!![]()
Speaking of which..what provinces are we all in?![]()

I am Canadian.
Right now it's -19. It'll get colder. It'll drop as low as -32C to -40C (sometimes).
Edit: I'm in north-east ontario, near sudbury in a stupid amalgomated town named "District of West Nipissing" (or Field)
As the info under my avatar says, I'm in Montreal. Now, how did we suddenly end up with minus celsius temperatures? It's so freaking cold that I refuse to go out of the apartment after I come back from work. My body just hasn't adjusted yet to the cold.

Ya, I know it's not too far. I'm originally from Sarnia so I drive by there quite a bit. Found any hotspots in the London area? Things are very dry up this way.Originally Posted by maxlords
I'm from Quebec city (province of Quebec, Canada, Earth).
It's cold today but soon it will be near to "zéro degré celcius" (32 F) with snow... it's winter here! nothing special!
Long time no see. Still playing my coleco games?

Ottawa, eh? Go Sens Go!
As if. I'm sure they'll make it to the playoffs and then choke again. Same ole, same ole.
Sadly, very dry in London too. Unless you count the evil game store...and he's charging prices like $150 for Lufia 2 and $99 for an import Shining Force 3 part 1. Bastard should burn for the prices he sells games for, and he's about the only one that carries ANYTHING older than PSX around here. There are a few pawns that get the occasional good game but that's about itOriginally Posted by congobongo
Canada sucks for games compared to where I was in Oregon.

I currently live in Brampton, ON and work in Mississauga, ON but I was born and spent the first 25 years of my life in K/W, ON.
@MaxLords: I actually knew somebody who lived in Ingersol. They got broken into though so they moved. I'm not sure if they're even part of a town but they're outside London now. Nice town.

Maxlords - my trip up to London last summer netted me a few loosed Odyssey2 games and an Odyssey2 Boxed. I was quite happy. Then again, I was probably also quite lucky.
Im also in Canada! Brantford Ontario, (GTA) I would also meet at the Tim Hortons except Brantford has like 20 alone. hmmm... I wonder how many Timmys there is accross Canada?
Quite a few as Tim's really expanded in the past few years. I see less and less Dunkin' Donuts and more and more Tims. Just where I am right now, I'm within walking distance (25 minutes and 15 minutes) from 2 Tim Horton's. And there's one 5 minutes away by foot from my parents' home (that precise Tim's being the hangout where I usually meet my friend Marty for coffee when I'm back in my hometown).
I hate the fact I live in assfuck-no-where. =/
Gah x_x
Brantford is about an hour away too... sounds like we could do a little get together if you guys wanted toOriginally Posted by NESCollector75
You, me and congo could probably all hook up. I'd say that Brantford is sorta midway between ...if you guys want..I'm around to do it.

I'm way over in BC (as you may have guessed). It hasn't snowed in my little part of the world yet. I think its great but Big White and Whistler have had a tough start to there season.
For those if you in the London, ON viewing area:
My wife is going to be on the local Rogers channel this morning. On a show called Rogers Mornings I think (11:00am). She works for Epson Canada and she's doing a bit on digital photography. Her name is Tricia Pantry (she's still in the process of taking my last name so she still uses her maiden name obviously).
Timmy's are definitely *everwhere*. I live in the outskirts of Brampton and there is still a Tims within 5 minutes of my house. And there's at least 3 within 10 min. walking distance from work. Funnily enough, the same ratio works for McD's.
