P1: Quickly make some forces.
Pnoob: How?
P1: Click on the Barracks.
Pnoob: What is "train footman"?
P1 *thinks*: A rather lengthy and smoking variety of footman soldiers.
Hey Axe, welcome to the boards! Be sure and jump into the "Introduce Yourself" thread and tell us a little about yourself!Originally Posted by Axe

From what I gathered, the theme of the essay is, Sega doesn't love the old classics and needs to update them for new gamers. Have you heard of the SegaAges series of games? It's where Sega is taking their classics, and updating them for new gamers ...
Regardless of the essay, welcome to the boards! I hope you stick around for awhile. One thing's for sure, if you're looking for fellow Sega fans, you're wandered into the right place!!!
el flackola is correct- sega has actually been on a bit of a retro kick for a while in japan. thing is, they really need a publisher to bring out more of the sega ages lineup here. i'll ask my sammy contact sometime this month if they have any plans along those lines...
oh... welcome to the boards!
This Axe...is it...could it be the GOLDEN one I've been looking for?
Welcome to the boards, man!
thanks guys, yeah this place looks mighty swell. Took a peek into the game rooms, that orange-ball-top-stick Atari controler brought back some memories.
Oh do read "nurturing the classics" fully. Im asking Sega should bow down to them guys who's appreciation of the classics is enough to make hombrews etc.
