    Two arrivals today...

    Hot Shots Golf 2 (PS1)
    Hot Shots Golf 3 (PS2)

Interesting coincidence both would arrive today, each from a different seller.

At EB, I bought the following games and put $5 down on Guilty Gear XX Reloaded:

    Apocalypse (PS1, complete) - $2.69
    Rascal (PS1, complete) - $1.79

I found Uprising X (PS1) for $2.99 at Gamestop last night. I might go back and buy it.

At this time, I'm still waiting on Street Fighter Collection (PS2) to arrive at the FYE I work at part time.

    Edit Post:

After I entered this last night, I bought Uprising X at Gamestop and Castlevania: Lament of Innocence for $10 from Target.
Currently catching up on PSN, WiiWare, Wii U E-Shop and Xbox Live Arcade exclusives I missed.

More Genesis games. All loose, but I have the necessities to complete them ;D.

    Gamecrazy

    Trouble Shooter - 2
    Fatal Labyrinth - 3
    F15 Strike Eagle II - 3
    Shove It! - 2
    Cybercop - 2

    Gamezone

    The Immortal - 4

    Eb Games

    Midnight Resistance - 2
    Socket - 5

Well, I didn't think I'd find anything today I needed but I did! I think I have officially exhausted my every last source of places to get genesis carts. With the sudden disappearance of Gamedude and the closing of his store it's another sad blow to my list of places to get carts....

Guess I gotta resort to flea's, thrifts and ebay =\.

Noah's Ark is a strange looking, looks like it can be piggy-backed like Genesis' Sonic and Knuckles. Any ideas?
Super 3D Noah's Ark is the only unlicensed SNES game released in the US, and you have to place Wolfenstein 3D or Doom on top of the game to play it. It plays like those two games, but you play as Noah throwing fruit at animals to get them back into the ark. Rumor has it that id gave Wisdom Tree the Wolfenstein 3D game engine as revenge because Nintendo (which was still "family friendly" back then) changed some of the content in the game. It's an R6 in the rarity guide. I wish I could find a copy somewhere.

Nice score on that Earthbound too. I found a loose cart for $4 earlier this year and I was a little surprised that I got it so cheap, since I found it at a store that normally charges anywhere from $10-$25 for SNES RPG's.

I went to my local goodwill today, because they have this stack of NES/SNES games there. I didn't have enough time to look through them all last week when I went, so I figured I'd hit them up this time.
    Gone
Someone cleaned them out. All that was left was a mario/duck hunt and a super-gameboy.
I still ended up grabbing Pac-Man and Space Invaders for the 2600 for 1.99 each.

But, there was 1 oddity left. The guy who was there (I guess he used to have a SNES back in the day) told me it was a SNES cleaning kit. It looked like a dark grey SNES cart, but it had this little button on that side that popped the cart in 2 when pushed. There were slots inside that looked like parts went there, but the only thing inside was a piece of flexible plastic-y styrophome-y thing that probably didn't do anything important. What's the deal with that cleaning kit thing? Anything special?

Yeah, you got to be fast at those Goodwills. Only Genesis sports titles seem to have a long shelf life.

A few weeks back I stopped off at a Goodwill during my lunchbreak and they had a whole pile of Saturn stuff including: Steet Figher something, Resident Evil, and House of the Dead amongst others. I was tempted by all all of 'em, but was trying to keep my spending under $10. So I gambled and took an unidentified import cartridge and some other game I had never heard of (games were $2.99 a piece and the cart was $3.99.)

Later I was kind of wishing I had grabbed House of the Dead and then when I looked it up in the Rarity Guide, I couldn't believe it!! Of all the games there, I had chosen the second least valuable (there was also a Hockey game.)

The next day I rushed back on my lunch only to find everything was gone, except for the lone Hockey game. Ah well.

Lol...I was actually going to buy this for 25 at gamezone (bastard prices off the dp guide) and when I saw the manual it was a sideways. Then I noticed on the back it was in all different languages and he had the pal version....damn!

I think all Sega of America did was take the European version and slap a new barcode sticker on it (please correct me if I'm wrong).

ah. Thanks for the help. I guess its not worth picking up for $2 if its missing stuff and not boxed.

I went for a long bike ride today to 2 thirfts. Only saw a couple things which I've been passing up for awhile now. I forgot my backpack anyways so unless it was something i really wanted, I wasn't going to get it. But then a bastard bee stung me on the hand about 5 blocks from my house. :X

Today I got Tales of Symphonia. :) It was a slightly late birthday present from my boyfriend.

Oh, and yesterday I managed to get the GameStop Star Ocean 3 poster for free (which I also have my boyfriend to thank for). :) When we ask if they had any, the guy there was talking about how we had to pre-order the game, then he was corrected by some other guy who said it already came out, so he was saying that we had to buy it. I said I didn't have much on me, and we were almost about to leave empty-handed, but then some lady in the store said to go ahead and just give me one because they were going to throw them out soon anyway. Then we hauled ass out of there with it before they changed their mind. :P We didn't even buy a single thing while we were in there, haha (but we have spent A LOT there over the years). Now I just need to find a way to get the EB poster. :P Probably will have to go with eBay since there are no EB stores around here.

That's it for me, and it's probably going to stay that way for a long time. I'm back in NYC and back to school, so the summer and all the garage sales and game hunting is pretty much over for me (especially now that GameStop no longer sells NES, SNES, and Genesis carts). For the rest of the year it'll likely be some imports now and then from eBay and online stores and maybe some stuff from the Salvation Army if I'm brave enough to face that horrid smell once again.
