Very impressive
Is it just me or is the wood starting to bend on your NES/2600 shelf?
It might just be the picture though.

hehehe actually they are starting to bow from the weight. When I first built that shelf about 5 years ago it held my meager collection of NES carts with a lot of room to spare and little weight on it. After rounding up all the carts and putting them on the shelf they have started to sag. It also doesn't help that those shelves have the widest span of any of them in the room. I will probably end up cutting that shelf in half vertically and making it into two shelves so it isn't quite as wide.
beautiful...
i have a stack of selectavideo disks too...never had any idea about the player though...are they tough to find? i just bought them cuz they were cheap, and i thought they were cool.
what are the eye piece things with the 3do games? (yellow and white)
very impressive.
4k+ games, very nice.
I have yet to even reach 500 games.
How can you have all that great stuff and play it on that small ass TV set???
Alex: It is a 21" TV and works well considering the size of the room. A 32" which I had in here for a while just made you feel like you were sitting a foot from the screen so it went to the bedroom instead. Eventually I may go up to a larger TV but it'll probably be after I move on to the next house and I have a lot more room.
qbert: They are Tomy 3D handheld games. Yellow one is Jungle Fighter and the white one is Thundering Turbo.
wow, great job on the room. i share and respect your obsession with having things ordered just so. if you have the time it would be great to see a photo spread dedicated to your gaming bric-a-brac: the figures, promo items, board games etc. on that subject whats the trash can next to your ms.pac man one?
NEW ENGLAND CLASSIC GAMING-NEXT TRADEMEET pretty soon... IN BOSTON
I have a great quality 14", a 28" 4:3 and a projector and most of the time I choose to use the 14". It's sharp! The projector is purely a party item.Originally Posted by alexkidd2000
I guess what I'm trying to say is not all great things come in large packages.
AlanD: I just goog'd a bit about the CED, that thing is rad!
Wow, very nice collection!
Nice and clean all in alphabetical order probably too
Is that a car battery under the computer desk?
Holy S%#! Thats a major difference than your last pics!!! TONS AND TONS OF GAMES!! Nice setup and nice shelving job!
PS: Where are the boxed nes and snes games?
Midwest
Stark:
Everything is by company then alphabetical except for NES which has all the licensed stuff in staright alphabetical order.
Yup that is a car battery. Wife works at Advance Auto and that is an empty battery shell for display purposes. The cover lifts off and I use it to store change. Better story would be to call it my UPS for the computer
Greg:
All the boxes are in the attic stored away except for a few systems. Somewhere around 1500 boxes up there right now. Also the whole left side drawers of the dresser the TV is on is full of manuals for games.
Wait.
You have all that amazing stuff? And you're playing a PS2? Good lord, why?
I kid. Incredible collection, wonderful organization. Color me jealous.

Wow...your my hero...Awesome collection. I think you need an Arcade Cab to round it off though

My Game Room http://www.psiapd.com/
Shinji008:
I do but they are all out in my sheds. I have owned over 500 machines over the years but have weeded them down just a bit to the following:
Qbert
Asteroids Deluxe
Crazy Climber cocktail
Donkey Kong Jr cocktail
Ms. Pac/Pac cocktail
Tempest
Gauntlet 1/2
Gyruss
Galaga
Gaplus
Elevator Action
Joust
Neo 4 slot
and a Desert Assault that will shortly become my MAME machine
plus:
Comet pinball
Black Knight pinball
Pennant Fever pitch and bat
several pachinkos
jukebox (in storage)
That many boxes and manuals!? Damn. Just no room for the boxes huh. I love having the boxes for games on shelves, they just look cool to me. Great improvement from the pics that were in the "game room" on this site...though that was still nice.Originally Posted by AlanD
