Hey everyone! If any of you have some CDi experience I would REALLY appreciate your input regarding the following.
1. Is it worth it?
2. Best version of the CDi Hardware?
3. Suggested titles?
4. Play backups OK?
Thanks again! Much appreciated!

3. Hotel Mario
4. I think so but you have to burn them at like 4x
Egbert, I miss you...
The CD-I is pretty low on ye olde totem pole of 'fun systems'. There are, however, a few decent games for the system.
Hotel Mario, as allready said, is probaly the best game for the system. The system also has the best version of 7th Guest. The three Zelda games are also worth playing -- the first two are okay, and the third one is actually a good game. There's a few others that are worth checking out.
I would'nt spend a lot of money on one, but the above games are worth trying at least once.

Hotel Mario is a good title, but IMO the three Zeldas are not good as the other versions...
I remember seeing a Thelma&Louise interactive CD for the CD-i...it was such a pain in the ass

Unless you can get it dirt cheap I would stay away from the cd-i. It should play backups just fine, but like suggested, burn them slowly. The only worthwile titles would be hotel mario, the zelda series and burn: cycle.
Burn: Cycle is really good and hotel mario is fun but gets a little hard and the zelda titles are just interesting to play cause they're so horrible.
