I don't know. It's good and i liked it it's just i couldn't really get into it as much as would of liked to. I guess atlus just did a good job hyping it up. I don't know i just was left fealing alittle dissapointed. Though if you can get it for 5 bucks at CC it's totally worth it.
Tradegamesnow and GameTZ feedback.
Is is as good as, say, Final Fantasy Tactics?
I was considering getting it through that deal, but couldn't find one. Its disappointing. I will probably just wait until its cheaper.

Well, I heard about Disgaea when it came out a little bit but it never interested me until I saw my friend play it when he bought it. It's pretty damn funny...heh....oh the prism rangers.....how they get owned, very funny. Mid-Boss was a funny character too. I really did like the game but never saw a point in leveling up to 9999 and doing to item world and fighting item god 2, ect.....but just playing through the game's story, I think you will enjoy it A LOT. I played FF Tactics after this game and liked that a lot better. Great story, people getting stabbed to death left and right by their friends and great music. Plus I laughed my ass off getting a black chocobo in this one battle and FLYING over a wall to help my allies on the other side while the enemy just kinda walked around in circles all alone on the other side of the wall. I may have to try this game, I have heard so much about it. I like games like this, such as Shining Force 1, 2, 3, FFT, FFTA, Fire Emblem, Advance Wars, and... Chess.
Is Disgaea like Shining Force, where you can walk around and stuff, or is it like the others, only with battles. I like the Shining Force format, although FFT was probably better.
And what about this other La Pucelle (whatever that means) thing. Is that any good?

You get to do some walking around, but unlike Shining Force I don't think you get to explore whole towns, not sure I didn't play too far. It seems to me like you station yourself in a hub where you can buy things, and talk to people but branch out from there into other locations via a menu like say Final Fantasy Tactics.
You do get to explore some additonal locations but the didn't seem to be very many. Again not positive on this.
Also the terrain is is 3 dimensional and not flat unlike Shining Force but similar to games like FFT and Tactics Ogre.
Also from the list you mentioned it sounds like you should play Tactics Ogre and Vandal Hearts. I think you'd like them. (:
There is a central hub where you go in between chapters. You can walk around in about 4 rooms and talk to a bunch of people, buy items, use the court room, item world, ect. Then you go to the gatekeeper which will let you play all the missions in the particular chapter.
Yes, I have heard about both of those, but since I am currently "overstocked" on games, I would have to see them for pretty cheap.
