Super Mario Bros. 3 VHS Tape- "The Ugly Mermaid"- $1

    and the highlight:

A Sega saturn with 2 controlers and these games:

    Hardcore 4x4
    NBA Jam TE
    Worldwide Soccer
    Independance Day
    Bug!
    Mortal Kombat 2
    NHL All Star Hockey
    NFL Quarterback club 96
    World Series Baseball
    Galactic Attack
    Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3
    Rayman
    Tomb raider
    Crime Wave
    Virtua Fighter 2
    Wrestlemania the arcade game
    Sonic 3d blast
    Street Fighter the movie
    Black fire
    space jam
    Daytona usa
    jurassic park the lost world
    grid runner
    NHL all star hockey

All for a total of $20! One catch though: All the games are disc only. If anyone has extra cases or instructions to these games, PM me!

Thanks to the sale going on at the Blockbuster Gamerush stores, I got the following games for free:

    Metal Slug 3 New
    WarioWare (GC)
    Need For Speed Underground (PS2)
    Jak II
    Toe Jam & Earl III

Well, they weren't totally free. I had to trade in games for them, but they were all crappy PS1 sports titles I haven't touched in years, so it feels like they were free at least. (which is already on top of the RalliSport Challenge 2, Splinter Cell: PT, RE Outbreak, and Socom II i also scored earlier in the week from Gamerush. )

I found this stuff on Friday so technically not a "weekend" find but I'll post it anyway, cause darn it, I want to:

Two 2nd generation Genesis consoles complete
4 controllers - 1 of them a third party model
    all hookups, power, RF, etc
Sega Master System - base unit only
3d glasses adaptor - no glasses, just the part that plugs into the unit
    NES advantage joystick
    Top Gun Thrustmaster PC stick
and the following Genny carts (carts only)

    Sonic 2 (2 copies)
    Sonic 3
    Sonic & Knuckles
    Sonic Spinball
    Jungle Strike
    Desert Strike
    Urban Strike
    F-22 Interceptor
    Lotus II R.E.C.S.
    Columns
    Jurassic Park
    Wayne's World
    A Dinosaurs Tale
    X-Men
    Stimpy's Invention
    Chuck Rock II
    Ranger X
    Batman Forever (cracked)
    The Jungle Book
Street Fighter II - Special Championship Edition
    TMNT Tournament Fighters
Pac Man 2: The New Adventures
    Tazmania
    World Series Baseball
    Cleaning cart

Total games - 25 (including two sonic 2's)

All for a grand total of $15 Canadian!
Nothing really special but a pretty good haul for the money.

After visiting Midwest Gaming Classic the collecting bug has worked its way back in.

    Found the following at Goodwill:

    NES (all loose):
    TMNT II: The Arcade Game
    Mega Man 3
    Contra Force
    Section Z
    Super Spy Hunter
Linus Spacehead's Cosmic Crusade (non Aladdin)
    Commando
    Solar Jetman
    Treasure Master

They were $1.99 each. And I forgot my 15% off coupon. Oh well.

I walked into the local Thrift store this morning and found 22 Atari carts sitting on the front counter. .99 each, mostly commons but a few 3's like CBS Electronics' Blue Print and some others. I think probably half of them are dupes but ah well, .99 cent trade pile fodder.

I also got Sega GT 2002/Jet Set Radio Future (xbox) for .49. Looking at it now I can see where it says 4.98 but I think she didn't see the 8 and just charged me .49.

Between Saver's and the garage sales I landed a couple small but interesting finds:

    APF-1000 TV Game, boxed - $3
Intellivision Voice Module, boxed - $4

Saver's really needs to get their heads together about game pricing. I found a loose Genesis copy of Hard Drivin' on the floor for $6 while they had a whole slew of Genny sports titles behind the glass priced at $3 each . I couldn't talk them down on the Hard Drivin cart so I had to pass for now. Ponderous, man. F-----g ponderous.

Still using the Blockbuster sale, I got all of these games for close to free.

    FF X2
    FF Tactics (non GH version)
    Soul Calibur
    Zelda Master Quest
    Guiltiy Gear X2
    Rogue Squadron 3
    Bust a Move 2 (n64)
    Transformers
    Red Dead Revolver
    Need For Speed Underground
    FF Crystal Chronicles

I traded the last three in to EB so I renewed my card, and preordered Growlanser, and now have $50 remaining in store credit there.

I've also got about $15 left at Blockbuster

also grabbed copies of Puzzle Star Sweep and No One Can Stop. Mr Domino!
