Default Any interest in loose spine cards?

I know some import collectors go crazy over spine cards but personally I find them annoying. I guess it’s because when it comes to import games I’m all about playing, not collecting. So, anyway, I have a bunch of games with spine cards that I’m considering separating. While obviously a spine card will increase the value of a game, is there enough of an interest in spine cards on their own? I mean, if I do decide to get rid of them will I be able to get trades for them?

Ahh.. spinecards, the source of invaluable information. I'm missing those on various platforms. Shoot me a PM and let's see if I can come up with some trades.

I've always thought that it would be a cool to have a service in which people who have spine cards for Japanese games, music cds, books, etc. but don't care for them much sell or trade them to people who do want them. I've never seen such a thing, though.

I think it would be a great idea. Even if you have absolutely no one interested in what you have (unlikely), it's still worth a shot and only takes the effort of listing them out. With all the people who buy manuals, boxes, styrofoam blocks, game sleeves, etc. to complete their loose games, I'm sure there are plenty of importers who want to complete their Japanese games with the proper spine card. And unless the person is especially worried about its condition, you could just mail them in a standard envelope, making shipping very easy. :)

Usually some barcodes, catalog numbers, cutaway proof of purchase cuopons and stuff like that. Japanese just want to spine everything. I don't know what on earth I could with spines but I gotta catch 'em all!

I don't know about trading but I sold a bunch of them to someone that runs an import store a few years back.

Sorry everyone, I forgot about this thread! I just got rid of a bunch of Saturn games so this is all I have left that I'm definitely willing to part with:

    PC Engine:
    Gotzendiener
    Minesweeper
    Panic Bomber
    Rayxbaner II
    Space Invaders

    Playstation:
    Hyper Crazy Climber
    Intelligent Qube
    Vib Ribbon

I also have spine cards for Twinkle Star Sprites (Saturn) and some Laseractive games but I haven't decided what to do with those yet.
