    Default Famicom game Question...?

So im new to famicom collecting but i just had a quick question..

i have been buying a bunch of complete games of ebay lately, but today i recived something diffrent, instead of the cardboard box i recived all my others in this copy of wagyun land 2 is in hard plastic box, i was just wondering if this is standard for namcot games for the famicom? or if this is something randomly in a hard box or what? THANKS!

It's normal for Namcot Famicom games. Some other companies used plastic boxes too. There were few standards with Famicom games. Companies could make nearly whatever style box or cart they wanted. When you see people with big collections of Famicom carts, it looks like a rainbow with all the different colors. :)

By the way, if you're not already watching out, be wary of pirates on eBay. It can be hard to find legitimate copies of Famicom games sometimes. Of course, if you don't mind pirates, then nevermind. :P
