I have two mem cards for my N64. I started playing again and everytime i save a game and turn off the system, it says that my memory cards become corrupted then i lose all my data fixing all the time. Does anyone know what to do to remedy this?

their third party, but i was reading previous threads about these problems. It dawned on me that the memory cards wouldn't keep their info because the battery in them was dead or very close to it, so i replaced the battery in each one and now they work wonderful. *Note* Some third party mem cards batteries are soldered in place, and you cannot remove them without damaging the positive and negative contacts. Was that a good theory Omnedon?
