Samurai/Ninja Themed for PS1 & Saturn

ok ive got a serious jones for samurai and ninja themed games...and I have a feeling im not the only one here. since i picked up a Japanese guide with every famicom game listed and with some descriptions and screenshots of each game....I pretty much know whats available for that system.

Recently, however, ive been getting into Saturn and ps1 collecting so I would like to start up a nice collection. To be honest I havent really found too many of this 'feudal japan' themed games for these systems. Recently for ps2 there is an abundance of these type of games being released in Japan.

As far as SAT and PS1 these are the main things I know....any more recommendations would be appreciated....either japanese exclusives or not

PSX: Tenchu 1 & 2, Bushido Blade 1 & 2

Saturn: Samurai Spirits, Samurai Spirits RPG

just looked for some names on the internet and found a few for ps1.....anyone have any comments about them?


First is konami's Rasetsu no Ken

Second is Rising Zan

Third is Samurai Deeper Kyo

I know the third title is a fighting game and thats about it....osusumeno?

Rising Zan is a little odd but it's a fun it's about a super sexy samurai cowboy in the wild wild west, Ive actually seen new copies stil floating around at kay b toys for about 10 bucks. Also Since you like samurai games the psx has a few more like the bushido blade series , Brave Fencer musashi, dynasty warriors. Im sure there are more samurai themed games out there but I dont recall anymore right now since Ive been up all night.

"Shinrei Jusatsushi TAROMARU" comes to mind. Saturn exclusive.
