You're not interested in the manual number?
You're not interested in the manual number?
no, just the one on the spine and the one on the cd
-Jan
If you want to know where the games have been released it might be a good idea to include the manual as well. It happens quite often that a game has an english box and english cd, but a dutch manual. If you'd only have the box and cd number, you'd never know it had a release outside the UK.
nah, as far as i can see (i have some few dutch releases and of course some german), the number on the spine is ALWAYS representing the languages the box/manual are in, i don't have a single game where the -XX code on the spine differs from the one on the manual, you just have to make sure you use the one on the spine, not one on the front cover (as the front cover is 95% the same for all european releases). I know that most discs have the -50 code on them as they are used in all the different european releases, that's why i need both, the spine code and the end of the cd-codeOriginally Posted by Arrrhalomynn
if u want to you can of course also check the manual codes and include them, but i'm pretty sure it won't differ from the spine code once!!
one last note: DON'T USE the 820-XXXXX-XX style code (or 830), always use the one beginning with T- or MK-

I did about 30 games now, and it's getting pretty confusing.
I believe 59 is benelux, since they all have french and dutch cases. 58 and 61 have the same languages, and 50 sometimes has 4 languages and sometimes 6.
Evil Twin has 71 as well, with English, German, French and spanish on the case. As if it's a 50 game.
yeah there are masses of codes, it's very confusing, but i already have found a way to put all the info into the list, just list the codes and i'll know what to do
thx for ur help btw

I've got a few UK Dreamcast games on my site. Obviously it would take a while for me to go through them all but if you're in no hurry or want particular ones to be going on with, just let me know.
I've just sold these two games so before I bag them up for posting out, here are the details -
Carrier (UK DC)
Spine - T-44901D-50
Disc - T-44901D-50 also
Silver (UK DC)
Spine - T15109D-91
Disc - T15109D-91 also
@devilman, what languages did the two games have on the back cover?
don't be to sure about them being UK, e.g. Carrier seems to be an overall european release
don't be worried about time too much, the only important thing is that i make the deadline for the advance guide
-Jan
thx, seems as if both are not uk-only releases
carrier is a european release
silver seems to be a uk+benelux release (didn't have a -91 before), i'm pretty sure there is a true german version of the game though

Hope these help. I have a few more and one of my friends has a lot more so if there are any specific ones you need, just ask.
hey, thx, those help
they also raise some questions though:
i always thought Giant Killers was only released in the UK, and as you said it has only English text on the box, yould you pls check again if both box and disc really have -50 at the end and not -05?? thx
there is a french Pro Pinball? that's new to me, always thought there were only a UK and a German release
thx for Taxi 2, very important one
i think the missing dash in the aqua gt code is a typo made by the label designer, i won't include that
-Jan
I've updated the Dreamcast database to include your research - it will be online in a few hours. Keep up the great work!
I only need 27 more DC games so if you need any help with a specific title I will more than likley have the game.
