You could buy packs of 5 or 6 (cant remember) of these. Ive got quite a few here. They are nice. They are on the US ebay all the time.

Those are generic casing that was used in videostore back in the day. Some are official (i have one with a sticker "licensed by Nintendo" and the SOQ) and some are not.

If you want to see some more, there are about three auctions on this page for some:

They also come in Blue & Pink for the offical ones. Toys R Us also sold them singally for 99 cents (I think...I'd have to check the price tag on mine in 2 weeks)

I believe there is clear, blue, and yellow for unofficial (doesn't have "nintendo" foil in it)

They are nice and have a small recess in them for manuals, so they don't get crumpled in the black plastic sleeves. About 1/3 of my NES collection is in them, just from what I've taken home from work.

I've got a bunch of those. I use them to store my HO slot cars though, hardly seems worth having just 15 or so of my several hundred loose NES carts in those boxes.

I used to throw these out...I had so many....I didn't have any use for them...they took up too much space.

    Thats how they are made.

I also have those hard plastic cases for super nintendo. Just like the one in the pic (same size) Except the Super Nintendo is more in the center.

    I hate these things

    I like the black sleeves.

These plastic things are a pain to open up, take the game out, and put them back in, close the case. Too much effort.

Plus they take up so much space! And you end up having to label the damn cases on the sides so you know what game it is.

I'm not a fan of those things myself, but I do have one that I keep my original Legend of Zelda in.
I only need 2 more NES games (US)!

Geez! Do you own any CDs/DVDs? I'd hate to see how you react to those.

I like standard jewel cases. I do not like digipaks or DVD cases.

There are official clear, pink, blue, and yellow cases.

I just scored a lot of 50 of these on eBay (most are generic, but do the same thing anyway). I've currently got 28 extra.

The beauty of them is that they hold 2 standard Famicom or Genesis carts quite nicely.

I have a few lying around. I use them to hold my NES manuals.

I've got one for the NES and SNES, One came with a YO Noid auction which now holds my copy of Maniac mansion (no, its not my most valuealbe game but its my most cherished) and the others for earthbound (for the same reason).

I have 2 very odd ones.

They are called "Permastruct". They are just like the plastic ones in that auction except they have a orange dude making a comical punch, and the instructions for the game are bonded inside the plastic. Not original instrustions, but this so called "Permastruct" orange dude quick reference instructions.

A local video store used them in the late 80's, and I bought 2 with them. Not sure if the guy had them made special, anyone know? Weird.
