Default 3D Classics Out Run Japanese page is up with lots of info including new NEW music tracks

Sega Japan's 3D Out Run page is up, releases on 4/23/2014 on Japanese eShop.

The original Testarossa is not in the game. This happened with Out Run in Shenmue II on Dreamcast and Xbox. Same with Out Run in the Yu Suzuki Game Works compilation on DC.

However now you can select different colors.

There are TWO NEW music tracks for the 3DS version.

    options (via Google Translate)

    - Choice of car color (Google translates it as "model" so it might even be different car types)
    - Save states
    - "Replay" option that will play back recorded gameplay at normal, half or double speed.
    - Steer with slide pad, d-pad, or touch-screen
    - 5 difficulty levels - on the lowest level there will be no other cars on the road
    - Time limit can be set on a scale of 1 to 5
    - Can select between playing the Japanese version or International version. The stages are arranged differently depending on the version.
    - Can switch between mile and kilometer display
    - Buttons are completely user configurable
    - Three shifter types: Toggle, Hold, and Automatic
    - Four screen display types: 4:3 (original), 16:9 (widescreen), Full (zoomed to fill the 3DS screen) and Cabinet (arcade cabinet view)
    - Moving housing (optional) - simulates the Deluxe Outrun arcade cabinet by tilting the screen when you steer
    - Environmental sounds (optional) - simulates the sounds the motors in the deluxe arcade cabinet made when it tilted side to side.
    - Volume sliders for sound effects, BGM and environmental sounds
    - Separate setting for engine sound volume (3 levels)
    - Equalizer - It is possible to process the reproduced sound of the game
    - BGM test menu
    - 2 new BGM tracks in addition to the original 3 (5 in total)
It seems there's no framerate option as with the Sega Ages Saturn release (60fps Smooth Mode) so I'm assuming 3D Out Run runs at the original arcade 30fps.

Hopefully it defaults to 60 FPS. With M2 at the helm, it's certainly a possibility.

Even if it's not, with it being on a small handheld LCD, a nice smooth 30 FPS should be very pleasing.

I'll definitely buy this when it comes out to the north american e-shop.

    I friggin love OutRun.

As cool as a definitive enhanced version of OutRun is though, what I'd really like to see is OutRun 2/SP/2006 Coast to Coast ported to the 3DS in 3D. The PSP got an excellent version, so I'm sure the 3DS is capable of even better.

I'd rather see Outrunnners and Turbo Outrun.

Just for the record, it's 60 FPS.
