I'd just like to extend a huge, warm THANK YOU to everyone that was a part of the Digital Press team, and especially to the 3 organizers. Joe, John and Sean made me feel instantly welcome and I cannot even begin to thank them enough for all of their generosity and goodwill. THANK YOU !!!
I also greatly enjoyed meeting people like Ian, Dave, Tim and Al for the first time, as each of them added different and distinct levels of depth (and color) to a hobby that has already taken me to several different countries and introduced me to some of my best friends.
As a first time attendee I personally found the Museum awe inspiring and all of the Keynote Speeches that I attended riveting. It was amazing to meet so many key people and to see so many rare games, and the auction encompassed items from so many different decades that there was something for everyone.
Aside from this I really enjoyed trading and playing games (anyone for Warlords?) with a great bunch of like-minded people that I hope to see more of over the coming months and years now that I am living in America.
Finally, as an ex-European games collector, player and BritMeet/EuroCon attendee/co-organizer I can sincerely say that the event was everything I had expected it to be, and more, and I look forward to being an integral part of the DP family next year in Las Vegas.
THANKS GUYS,
