    Default Panzer Dragoon Saga

    Hey Guys

I recorded the beginning of Panzer Dragoon Saga with my S video cables. I did not realize S video for the Saturn is hard to come by. I think the quality came out pretty good.

I will probably record 5-10 min chunks of game play and post them over the next few weeks.

Let me know if you find this interesting..

The aspect ratio is all screwed up. Only Panzer Dragoon Zwei was widescreen on the Saturn for this series (Which was one of just a handful of widescreen Saturn games in fact).

But Panzer Dragoon Saga is 4:3 and a video that doesn't present it in that form isn't of much use for showing the game off in my opinion.

Why one Earth does everyone nitpick about the video output of their classic systems only to play them it the wrong aspect ratio?! Makes me nuts.

What's even worse are all of the 3:4 vertically oriented classic arcade games on YouTube that are stretched to 16:9 proportions.

Many 4:3 games manage to still look at least halfway decent stretched (Particularly 3D games like this one). But nothing ruins a video of a 30 year vertical arcade game like stretching it to widescreen proportions.

So is there anything I can do while exporting the movie from IMOVIE and uploading it to correct the aspect ratio?
