My LCS has been getting in some of the stock early. He's already set aside some of the books for me, the DC stuff and kiddie books that I give to my Goddaughter's sister. I've been meaning to look up the entire list of books coming out so thanks for that link.

My particular shop doesn't seem to be on the list, but he's told me he is participating. So, per usual, he's going to be holding a copy of Sonic for me, along with AtomicRobo.

Edit: Looking at the list, I think I'll ask him to save MegaMan for me as well.

Got some great free stuff including Mega Man, Transformers, Gossamyr, Zombie Kid and Avengers.

Not really happy with the Chapter One revisited Spider-man comic, though. And the Valiant preview comic was a loser.

I don't have a comic shop in my area. I get mine from a regular book store which doesn't participate in this. However, i have an online friend who works at a comic shop in Canada and hes shipped me several of these free titles.

So, did anyone have troubles getting any of the freebies from the last Free Comic Book Day? I kept reading that there were a number of shipping issues and that a lot of stores didn't get all the comics they were supposed to. My shop of choice only got one box of one of the titles and that's it.

my local library is the only place that gets shipments from FCBD. Last year I got most of the stuff I was really looking forward to, including the archie sonic and megaman releases, but was totally bummed out we didn't get the 2012 bongo simpsons/futurama special, and most of the hero comics

we got everything, the two separate shops in my area both got every free title. Hopefully this year they dont mess things up for you guys!

Each year it seems like the titles are becoming better and better! Do any of these titles become rare or collectible? Also, don't forget to collect those free HeroClix FCBD editions!

They generally don't become rare, being that they are mass produced to hell and back. More often than not I see them either tossed away or used as convention fodder months later. Last years books might be slightly harder to get than previous years due to all the shipping problems they had.

It's been a very long time since I took part in free comic book day but I think this year I'm going to go out to the local stores and snag a few freebies to read.
