SNK Announces New Handheld - The Neo Geo X

Neo Geo x is complete with a 3.5 inch screen, SD card slot, 20 preloaded games, AV out port. No word yet on pricing. It has an SD card slot, and that's better than having to use actual Neo Geo carts.

Exciting. I hope this all works out and ends up being good. I'm a big Neo Geo fan and excited to see another system from them. Plus I like all the pre loaded games.

I'm still waiting on an offical word for pricing. A few sites were reporting that it could cost 500 British Pounds at the official announcement a few weeks ago so yeah...need an official word on what they are really going to charge for it.

If it's going to emulate perfectly, then they could justify a price tag $100+, but if not, I would say anything $50+ would be pushing it.

it looks great hopefully its made well has awesome battery life and sound/visual quality. Throw in a 1-3 year warranty keep the price below 150 with perfect emulation and if they really want to succeed it needs some new not just classic games. Most of this can be done on other consoles so they gotta make it special in every way possible. That said I'd love to have one

Thread title is deceptive and wrong. SNK isn't announcing or releasing anything. This is Blaze and Tommo who have just licensed the Neo Geo and SNK names and roms.
