I know that Canadian NES and SNES games aren't normally included in the guide, since they're essentially variants on the US versions (the biggest differences stemming from when Mattel was the Canadian distributor of the NES). However, in the case of Link to the Past, we're beyond a mere box variant since, as many people know, there is a French-only NTSC version with manual and poster in French. I believe that this particular release should get its own entry in the guide, especially since it's a copy playable by any SNES in North America with the in-game text in French. Nowadays, this is quite common and wouldn't be worth mentioning, but in those days, it was. To give an idea, there wouldn't be another North American Zelda game playable in French until Twilight Princess on the Wii.
Here's a closeup pic of the "Game playable entirely in French" and "User manual in French" mentions on the box we got two days ago. There seems to be at least one box variant, since another pic found online show that mention on the upper part of the front of the box instead of the bottom. We'll take more detailed pics later on, showing the manual, the map, the hint book and the in-game screens.
