Beat Dragon Quest V on the DSi XL. I'm now working on Dragon Quest VI (which is really good) on the DSi XL.

6. American Mcgee's "Alice" (PC) forgot when i beat it
7. Alice Madness Returns (PC) 6/13
Almost forgot to add american mcgee's alice which i beat before i started alice madness returns up... whoops oh well. Can't remember when i beat it so sue me.
Anyways....
Alice Madness Returns.
I love love love stories with psychotic sickness to them. Specially when they do it in such a way where you don't even know it till it hits you. Like you'll be like "oh my god what the fuck...."
American Mcgee's Alice series delievers all around in that field. This is what Tim Burtons piece of shit movie should have been.
You play as alice years later after the first game ends and you find out you still are not all right in the head. Then you find yourself entering wonderland once again which is still in shambles and with a new evil. How will you stop it? You'll just have to find out who and why. and trust me when you find out what happens at the end you'll be intrigued on deep they go with that psychotic sickness.
The visuals are breath taking. Maybe not the greatest graphics in the world but who cares. The thought the detail and visuals which are all different from anything else you seen are just amazing.
The music is as always amazing as it was made by the same guy who did the score for the original game.
The story is amazing
The only problems i have with this game are some invisible wall issues i kinda don't like.. You'll see em once in a while. But whatever. Sometimes the game also glitches with the platforms where you'll be walking along and you'll hit a stop but don't see why... so you hop over to continue. still not that big of a deal. The targeting system seems a lil half assed to me.. Like when you hit the button to make you lock on a bad guy it chooses the closest one. But sometimes you want the one in the back as thats the trouble maker of the bunch. or you'll be in a field of endless small bad guys who chase you down and you got that one big one in the back you should be focused on. Kinda a pain in the ass
Also your projectile weapons when you go to get em out and you have yourself aimed at the badguy ... the aim changes randomly to where ever when you get the projectile out. Kinda annoying but whatever.
Its just a bunch lil tiny glitches and problems that snuck by the testers which still is fine with me.
Its a really sick twisted game with sick and twisted visuals and sick and twisted story...... If you like that kinda thing (and god i wish there were more games like this... cause i love it!). Then definately check it out.

Wow.... What a disapointing game...
I mean it was a decent game dont get me wrong. But had so many stupid things that shouldnt have been there from the start imo.
First off it tried to be like fall out with the rpg element in a first person action title.
Then it basically ripped left 4 dead off as much as it possiably can with its specialty zombies.
The story cinematics were half assed in the perspective that they assume your playing with 3 other characters when for instance your by your self. The multiplayer system while cool if you mind romping through the game first time through with strangers over the internet. Rather stupid when your exploring and one randomly pops up and you feel the need to solo the game.
Also the dying and reviving system thing is retarded. You die and it respawns you right next to where you left off even with the bad guys half dead like you left em... Makes ya feel like whats the point....
Other then that not a bad game good 30-40 hours of your life can be wasted on it.

My sister and I used to rent this game when we were kids and despite our best efforts, we could never last the full 20 minutes. In the past couple of years, I've tried a few times to beat it. I've gotten close a few times, but it's a tiring game to play over and over. Popped it in the NES tonight and beat it on the second try. Only took 20 years, but I'm glad this one is finally done.
Still working on Punch-Out!!, SMB 2j, and a few others.

Another great LEGO game, although this one was way shorter. I also noticed a few quarks that aren't in the other LEGO games, such as not being able to skip the initial TT logo at start up and a few spelling and gramatical errors and one instance of a boss title not showing up (I imagine that and the spelling errors will be fixed in a patch eventually). LEGO Gotham City is realy something, but I would have rather had a longer story arc.

Was really enjoying Ages up until around the 6th or 7th dungeon. Had read this was the harder of the two. Wouldn't say it was harder, just more tedious. Back and forth, back and forth, past and present, past and present. Just too much, even for a Zelda title. Still need to beat the final boss for the series, but the main enemy for Ages has been defeated.
Just beat Uncharted on the PS3. Overall I liked it although the zombie Spaniards were a bit out of place. But still a good action adventure game. Now my list looks like this:
1. Truth Or Lies(360)
2. Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary(360)
3. Left 4 Dead(360)
4. The Gunstringer(Kinect)
5. Resistance(PS3)
6. Alan Wake: American Nightmare(360)
7. Motion Gravure Idol(PS2)
8. Crysis(360)
9. Tekken 4(PS2)
10. Uncharted(PS3)
Next up is to finish Battlefield 3.

I was nearly finished the game (still had some unlockables, but was most concerned with beating the main game) and was on Space Land. I only had a couple stages left and the boss. I thought for sure that was the end, but then it was revealed...I still had to rescue Dream Land! Dream Land was fun to play with music reminiscent of the older games and a yarn interpretation of the Whispy Woods! I made it to Yin Yarn and beat the game! Surprisingly, Yin Yarn wasn't as hard to beat as some of the earlier bosses. The end of the story was presented, the credits rolled, and I was satisfied to finally beat the game. My girlfriend got me the game for my anniversary in March 2011, making it a year and three months since I got it and a year and eight months since it was released to beat it.
My list so far (from 1st game beat to most recent) looks like this:
1) Grand Theft Auto IV (PS3)
2) Kickle Cubicle (NES)
3) The Legend of Zelda (NES)
4) Kirby's Epic Yarn (Wii)
Hmm....not much of a list, huh? Some of the games I was certain were beaten this year were actually beaten in 2011. In all fairness, I have been playing a lot of games I already have beaten or games with no true ending.
Finished the Zelda Oracle series the same night I beat Ages. Wasn't sure that counts as an additional game, but I'll put it as a 1/2. Little torn: part of me wishes they had made a third game in the series, though another part of me is glad it is was limited to two.

This game series has the potential for being one of the best games of all time. Hopefully future episodes continue with the great story telling.
I've been trying to add Dark Cloud to the list of completed games for a hot second now, but I just can't stop grinding these fucking weapons up long enough to focus on the game. It's really quite addicting. I've clocked 60+ hours and I'm only on the 4th dungeon of the game. I can't believe that I've had this game this long and never even tried it until now. I didn't even know what it was about, or what type of game it was. I used the random list generator on a website that someone here mentioned to decide which game to play next, and out of the 300 PlayStation2 games I entered, Dark Cloud and Dark Cloud 2 were #1 and #3 on the list. That's pretty amazing that they both made the top 3%. I was going to select something from the first 10 games, but when I saw the results I HAD to go with Dark Cloud.
Zelda II: The Adventure of Link (NES, 1/5/12)
Final Fantasy (NES, 2/20/12)
Metroid (NES, 5/26/12)
Kirby's Adventure (NES, 6/11/2012)
Home Alone (NES, 6/18/2012)
Arkanoid (NES, 6/28/2012)
Another one I could never beat in my youth. Took a few hours to get through all 36 levels. My girlfriend and I took turns playing so this victory is as much hers as it is mine. I can't imagine anybody beating this one without the continue code.

By the way, I'm really enjoying reading about everyone's feats this year.
