Well, as we all know, the 360 seems like it stole portions of it's design from Bic. I hate working on mine. I hate cracking the housing, watching a plastic tab fly off, cleaning the same surfaces I did last month, tightening the same screws I did last month...
I just want to play L4D.
So, in that glorious moment between sleep and awake, I came up with the mod the Microsoft HAS to be aware of, but never implemented. So as I drank my morning coffee I drew up a schematic. The schematic's a little rough; If I get enough requests, I'll re-work it and post it so all can benefit from this.
Now keep in mind that I did not go to ITT or anything like that. I am self trained, and have used to internet for most of my repairs, at least to garner a schematic and usually the most likely sources of problems. I'm a repairman in those regards, not an engineer. So if it looks a little rough, please be kind. I worked hard on this, and I didn't have to share!
After implementing this mod, you will find that even after 12 hours of gameplay, your 360 is more or less the same temperature as the surounding air. You'll see it requires next to no ventilation, eliminating any need for aftermarket fans or worries about which vents are covered. You'll even start watching DVD's on it again!
Any helpful suggestions as to how I could improve this would be greatly appreciated. And if you need any instruction on doing this yourself, just PM me, but please keep in mind I expect a big response, so I will be posting all PM's regarding this on this thread as to keep other gamers informed. OK, here's the preliminary pics, more to come...

As you can see, it is working fine, and I finished this about 16 hours ago, and have had it on ever since. I even disabled the fan for 2 hours! Enjoy!
