Default Anyone have any experience with the 3 in 1 NES/Genesis/SNES AC adaptor?

it says its for a model 1 genesis, but is it safe? would it be better to try to get an official sega adapter?

I had an old school nyko one that worked fine. I thought it was odd that it worked for all 3 when oem nes adaptors out put a ac current. Of course I founds that out later

Any way it worked fine on my genesis

Official is always the best. 3rd party will work, but some do hurt the longivity of the console. A Genesis AC adaptor isn't too expensive.

I have a three in one which heated up horribly when I used it. Needless to say, I don't have much faith in the product and I only use first party AC adaptors now.

They work fine, but I would avoid them if at all possible (I sell them in my store, mind you).

Depending on how cheaply they are made, they can cause buzzing in the audio of a Genesis 1.
