Ah...Clu Clu Land. I just remembered I have this game on E-Reader Cards for the GBA. Lol...remember those stupid things? Connect the E-Reader to the GBA, scan the six cards and you have Clu Clu Land right there on your GBA. Until you shut off the power of course.

I don't need to tell any of you that Super Mario RPG is one of the best SNES games out there (yet I just did - ha!). I'm glad to see it on the VC.

I own the e-Reader port of Clu Clu Land as well, but I have yet to play it. I've got to check it out someday.

Check out the new N64 Rumble Pak. See how it feels to feel what you see.

I was being facetious, of course, as anything being released this week will be overshadowed by SMRPG. However, Clu Clu Land really is a cool game. I fell in love with it playing it on an emulator on my Palm Pilot while on call. Nothing was better than a little Clu Clu Land at 3am. It's got that Bubble-Bobble type universal appeal, like how any time is a good time for Bubble Bobble. Clu Clu Land is that way, if you're into it. Some people, (Like my fiancee') have trouble with the control scheme (the limitations are similar to Bionic Commando. Intead of not being able jump, though, you can't turn unassisted). It's worth checking out at least once.

That's funny, I did the exact thing recently. I am going to start over on the Wii though

Super Mario RPG is arguably my favorite one in the genre (though it seems to phase back and forth between Earthbound). It's a fantastic title that proves Square was the domination of RPGs in the golden 16-bit era.

Now, as for purported titles on the horizon, Final Soldier (the last great Star Soldier game that America has yet to receive) and CHO FRIGGIN' ANIKI (which is legendary in gamekind nowadays) are alleged to be released. Though, I'm pretty much just going on the Wiki, and I know that's an incredibly bad thing to do, but even the notion of hope has me content. Besides, I fail to see any massive translation issues. They're both shmups; when has dialogue ever been integral to shmups anyway?

I got the game just yesterday and this is my 2nd time playing it. Playing this game again brings back so many wonderful memories from when I was.... How old was I? I would say about... 10?

Anyways, the game is awesome, and you should pick it up. Geno for president.

How do SNES games from the virtual console look on a HDTV? I have a 50" plasma.

If you have S-Video or component for your Wii, very sharp. Sharper than the originals via a composite cable. I see things in the Genesis games (signs in Sword of Vermillion, details, little facial expressions or animations) that I couldn't see on an actual Genesis without modding. But it all looks very pixellated, so you have to get used to that.

So, say I have 500 VC pts/$5 to spend. Do I get Adv of Lolo or Clu-Clu Land? Opinions please! (I'll obviously get more pts in the future ) Which should I buy first?

vc-reviews.com gave Lolo 4/5 stars, & Clu-Clu 2/5, & I dig the whole puzzle game genre, but to me Clu-Clu seems more fun.

Clu Clu Land is heavy on action and light on puzzle, while Lolo is the opposite.

Lolo is an extremely well-made game, and will challenge you for a long time. Clu Clu Land is a launch NES title (meaning it's not very complicated) and may get old after a couple plays.

Both are good, both are worth owning, but if you must get one over the other, go with Lolo. You won't be sorry.

Looks like I better clear some more space on the Wii. Can't wait to to experience that giant pumping cock boss first hand.

Purchased Super Mario RPG today, I've never had a opportunity to play it before.

I hope it grows on me, since it seems inferior in every way to the experience I've had with the Paper Mario series.

Wish I had played it first.

It's not worse than I remember but it's a hell of a lot shorter than I remember. I've only played about 2-3 hours of it total and I'm already at Booster Tower.
And don't bring up that stupid girlie Aladdin rip off! Shantea?

Damn damn damn. Why did BOTH have to be released on the same day? I do have 900 points, but I'm incredibly reluctant to spend anything, so I have to make the choice. I think I'm going for Cho Aniki on this one, as while I love the PC Engine Star Soldier titles, FS is reportedly the weakest of the bunch (in comparison, though still a great game). Plus, I've wanted to play CA for a while to absorb the batshit insanity of just how far a demented shmup can roll. I'm hoping they release Ai Cho Aniki if response is good, because that's where the weird factor obliterates all notions of normality in the series.

I got a few of them. QUiz show one. Farm animal one, table tennis, strong bad, and I think one other. They are half bad, but strong bad is kinda confusing. My favorite seems to be quiz show

Today's vc release is the following:

    Megaman 2 - 500 Wii points

    The source is http://press.nintendo.com/articles.jsp?id=16263 .

It a great game, but I can't recommend it to those that have Mega Man Anniversary Collection for PS 2.

Megaman 2 was released to prepare gamers for Megaman 9 next week or the week after. Megaman 9 is supposed to be released sometime this month.

At least North America has the same amount of Megamans on the vc as Europe does.
