I own the first few volumes of Omaha The Cat Dancer.
Collected and read them in the late 80s/early 90s LONG before I was socially conscious of "furries" or "anthropomorphic" fetishes.
I just enjoyed the serial/soap-opera style that Waller and Worley set the books up as. When I read them I was always thinking more along the lines of "Fritz the Cat" than anything furry-centric.
Now when somebody comes across them in my collection they immediately jump to conclusions that I'm into anthro/furry stuff, which, while I have nothing against - I'm really not.
