    Default Mario walkie talkies (pic)

I picked these up for $2 at a Salvation Army. kinda cool. anyone know what year these are from? looks like around the time Super Mario 3, judging by the ears.

I did a quick search and found this link:
    http://www.nintendoland.com/home2.htm?funfacts/merchs/
Scroll down a bit and you can click to see a pic. It says they're SMB 3 Walkie Talkies made in 1991. Nice find.

Very goofy looking, but cool find! Check out those antennas (antennae?)!

Did you have a chance to test them out yet?

yeah I tested them. they work. they run on 9 volt batteries. thanks for the info! the box in the picture covers the antennas but you tell they are the same ones.

    Huh?

I can see the antennas fine...nothing's covering them in the pic...
