Still not working for me. This is the message I keep getting:

"Fatal error: Class 'vB_Template' not found in /home/digitpress/digitpress.com/forum/dbtech/vbshop/hooks/postbit_display_complete.php on line 21"

Back to the topic of the 64DD, was following one on eBay that recently ended. This was for the console only, no games. The reserve was not met and it never went past $380. In fact, I believe that was the price with two days remaining.

    Try this...

It's nearly the same address but it's not highlighting the "last" and the "legion"

Hmmm... I personally believe the reserve was too high despite it being the rarer retail version (as opposed to the earlier yellow box Randnet edition that was sent direct to people subscribing first), especially given there is no software either.

Mayhem ~ Yeah, I agree. I think $380 is too high for just the DD, at least throw in one game! Now if only more listings would have this happen, maybe starting and buy it now prices wouldn't be so ridiculous.

fishsandwich ~ The second link works for me. But, you're making me more and more jealous! I really need to find Last Legion UX, complete in box (this may be my new "holy grail"). At the very least I want to at least play the game on my N64.

Then again, I've seen someone put up just the DD unit by itself (no box, no packaging, no manuals, no nothing else) for $300 so... that's pie in the sky territory too

There's another relatively painless way to play imports if you don't have a passthru or a Game Shark but you do have a gamebit screwdriver. You can swap the back of the import cart with the back of a local cart you don't care about (I used Castlevania 64, which I actually got for free brand new thanks to some weird rebate Best Buy had going on at the time). Since the carts on the N64 are all the same shape regardless of region, unlike SFC and SNES carts where they're totally different, this is pretty easy and painless.

I only have two imports, both of the Virtual Pro Wrestling games, and I do have a passthru adapter and a Game Shark, so I didn't really need to do it, but I had just gotten a gamebit, and I felt like playing around and opening things up and stuff, so I just swapped the backs for fun. I forget what the other donor cart I used was.

I'm actually planning to buying both Super Nintendo & Nintendo 64 systems from a friend who lives in a Lynchburg and he was planning to ship the package USPS Flat Rate Medium Size box, but it's obvious that both systems wont fit the box. So is it possible to fit both consoles in the large size flat rate box?

I definitely plan on importing N64 games. Just found a supplier selling them in great condition for a reasonable price. One of my favorite systems. Collection will come together as the money allows, but definitely excited to start. When I can purchase a fami com converter, will start that collection too. GREAT thread! Love IT!

N64 Import Games are my favorite..

One Complete N64 Import Game stays on my shelf, untouched as I won it in a contest..

I have a few loose games to play but otherwise I can't afford to collect N64 Import Games as I have too many hobbies.

Right now I have a few complete N64 Import Games listed on ebay..videogamerdaryll

To play the Import Games I have:

    yea systems dusty

I removed the plastic tabs from my system. Took some work, but I was able to remove just the tabs and keep the plastic part and the dust doors so it doesn't look modded. It's working great. I only have one import Mario kart 64. It was much cheaper to buy the Japanese version, and besides some Japanese text it seems to be the same as the US version. Very playable.

    Default Ultra 64

I have great memories of this system. I've bought it on launch date, and although there were not many games available (even for the whole year of 1996 only a few games...) I've played titles like Super Mario 64, Pilotwings 64 or Wave Race 64 like crazy. The system had its flaws as well, but the graphics seemed to me much cleaner than on Saturn or PS. I always liked that. Nowadays the look of the games comes across a bit outdated but the game play value is still there.

Over the years I've collected all games, accessories, console editions, and magazines, for Nintendo 64 and 64DD. The library is pretty small, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. There are still many exclusives as well.

The 64DD prices have come down a bit again from a few years back. It's still nice to create some tracks for F-Zero X. Other than that, I haven't used this system in years.

My favorite games in no particular order: Mario 64, Pilotwings 64, Wave Race 64, Yuke Yuke Trouble Makers, Blastdozer, Golden Eye, Zelda (Ocarina), Ogre Battle 64, Bangaioh, 1080, F-Zero X, Banjo Kazooie, Perfect Dark, Star Twins, Mario Golf, Diddy Kong Racing, Mario Tennis, Virtual Prowres 2, Tetris 64, Tsumi to Batsu, Mario Story, Doubutsu no Mori, Smash Bros.

To the best of my knowledge, I'm the only other serious N64 importer around here, except for when Importaku shows up on occasion. I only collect Japan-exclusives (although that includes games that only got released in Japan and Europe because I don't want to deal with PAL carts). Here's my collection, minus the first Doraemon which I recently picked up:

What are those two games to the bottom right?

I can't remember the exact Japanese name, but the second to last is Irritating Stick (only released on PS in America).

The very bottom right one is Yakōchū II: Satsujin Kōro (夜光虫II ~殺人航路~)

Yep, that's them. The Japanese title for the N64 Irritating Stick is Uchhannanchan no Honoo no Challenger: Denryuu IraIra Bou (yes, it's really that long, haha).
