    Question Ps3: Type of reflow?

I ordered a tube of RMA-233-Uv off ebay to do a reflow on a friends ps3 I am just wondering if it is the right one. I have done the thermal paste method a bunch of times and work fine but of course only for a little while. Now I am attempting to so the reflow with the 2 copper shims in between the processors. Thanks.

How are you performing your reflow? I'm assuming you're pushing the flux under the GPU/CPU and applying heat?

Sure hope you're preheating the board and applying adequate heat to the underside.
I fix things. You name it, I'll work on it. Want something modded? Recapped?

Are you going to use a heat gun?

Yes I will be putting the flux under the Gpu/cpu, plus I am also using a heat gun for it as well.
