Default Requesting help identifying a C64 game.

This has been driving me nuts for a couple of weeks now. I've been trying to remember the name of a particular c64 game I played long long ago. Details are scarce, but any leads are appreciated.

The little I remember is as follows:

    1) it was on a floppy, but since half of the games we had were copied, that may not mean anything

    2) Most of the game was spent flying a ship around in first person looting either ruins, other ships, or what have you. Enemy ships would engage you on occasion. When you returned to base, a well animated robot would examine your loot.

    ... That's it. Seriously.

Any leads you folk might have are welcome, and thanks in advance.

If I'm right I'll be shocked - I'm nowhere near as good with C64 as I am with A8 or Amiga...

Having only played the Amiga and Genny versions, I dont' remember any robots, well-animated or otherwise, that would go through your stuff back at base.

They do have the Mechan droids though, which would've been pretty well animated but they were in ships in space.

99.9% sure you are correct. The whole game involved looking for artifacts in ruins, having the robot inventory them and then going back out for more only to be occasionally chased or attacked by the guardian ships.
