Heavy Barrel is a great run and gun game. The levels and weapons get better as you get further on in the game.
I like co-op Rodland (puzzler like Bubble Bobble), but it is a PAL and Japan release.
I also love Don Doko Don, plays like Rodland. This is a Japan release(very english friendly on this one as well)
