Default Fan Expo - Toronto, Canada

Anyone else going to the fan expo at the end of August in Toronto?

I know it is a large convention, that is only 1/5 for video games, but it really is a blast!

I do wish there were some classic games at this event, rather than all modern, but it is what it is. Plus, plenty of hot nerdy women!

I did purchase my ticket already, I got the Deluxe VIP.

The Deluxe ticket is a must, because you can't get into any of the extra stuff without it. Also, if you are going for multiple days, then it makes no sense to get the other stuff.

Now, depending on when you get there, the VIP may be the way to go. You are looking at a several hour long line to get into the event if you get there when it opens with a standard or deluxe pass. If you get the VIP, you'll be in 10-15 minutes after you arrive.

As far as gaming sales, unfortunately the booths are pretty weak. Only two people with games if I recall. However, I read there is going to be PlayStation Move, Kinnect, and Nintendo 3DS on display... so that will be pretty cool!

If you like comics, sci-fi, horror, anime, etc... you will get a lot more out of the event, than just video games. As just games go, you'll probably get your fill in one day.
