Default Sega Saturn will not turn on

I have not been on a message board in a few years now, and I've recently decided that I am going to fix my sega saturn.
My knowledge of electronics is very minimal, especially when it comes to systems because besides my saturn, none of my systems have broken. I'm pretty decent at figuring things out, but I really don't want to mess with anything too much in fear of creating another problem.

That aside, my saturn does absolutely nothing when I hit the power button. It never had a problem back when I used to play it, and once it broke I immediately gave as I was quite young. I've been getting back into gaming recently and miss those games horribly.

Now that I have finally found a screw driver (I'm in college and cannot afford usual household tools), and have gotten my saturn apart, I have no idea what I am looking for. Nothing seems burnt out, melted, or obviously wrong.
I'm really hoping this is a usual problem that has a simple fix, but if not, any sort of direction into what fuse to look at, etc. would be great!

This should probably be moved to the "Technical & Restoration Society" section. Where's PapaStu when you need him?

I believe the Saturn has a fuse around where the power plug is, wouldn't hurt to replace it with one of the same type.

I once had to replace a non working power switch on a Saturn, it might be another posibility:

Also, lookout for broken solder joints at the power supply:
