Game Informer gave it a 5 in their latest issue. Though I hardly use them as the yardstick by which I measure my games (they gave several games I love medium to low scores). I'll pick it up eventually simply because I have every other Atelier game so far.

    I liked it.

Game's very short though, obviously meant to be played multiple times as on new game+ you keep all your money and items. So with each new game it gets easier and easier to synthesize the more complicated items.

Game is also very very different from the Atelier Iris games. Much of it is spent watching/reading dialogue skits between characters. Even more-so than the Mana Khemia games were.

    It's also very very silly.

That's how the handheld side of the Atelier series works. They focus more on story and item creation way more than the main series does.

I agree with this 100%. Took me maybe 6 hours to beat (and I took my sweet time), but it was entertaining. There are a trillion different endings, which is why they give you the "New Game+" option so that you can strive to get better and better endings until you can get the best one.
