Ebay's Search Engine is Down

Ebay's search engine has gone down...meaning it is currently impossible to look for any items on Ebay. I called Ebay up, and they said they are working hard to fix the problem...but this means that everyone who has items ending right now (and it is Saturday, so there are a LOT of items ending) won't be able to get any last minute bidders. Since most bids usually come within the last hour or so of an auction, Ebay sellers are going to loose a LOT of money today. The guy I spoke to on the phone said they are going to try to come up with a resolution for all the sellers who were affected by this....but who knows what that's going to be.

Oh, you CAN search for stuff. Just click on the "buy it now" tab, it works then.

Problem still going on.
Due to errors in some of our backend systems, members may be seeing different errors in Search. This could be that "We were unable to run the search results you entered. Please try again in a few minutes" or a blank page, or simply the browser being unable to display the page.

This is also affecting the ability to access eBay stores through search directly, and sometimes from the store URL.

Ebay will probably just reimburse the listing fees from all the auctions that were affected by today...but that won't even come close to how much money sellers lost. Ebay needs to refund both the listing AND the final value fees of all auctions that ended today, and refund the PayPal transaction fees related to any auction that ended today. That at least would be something. What they really should do though, is cancel this month's bill. I just received my invoice a couple of days ago, and I owe them $350. That's probably around how much money I lost in sales today. They really should just cancel my bill for this month...but Ebay is too greedy for that.

That would be amazing. I owe $300 in fees this month and need to find $100 more to pay them by the end of the month.
