Default Professeor Layton and the Diabolical Box (DS)

Anyone else pick this one up?

I'm 18 puzzles in, and one have been stumped by one thus far(since I didn't read the directions right).

Looks like Nintendo is actually putting a bit of muscle behind this one, as I saw a neat standee for it in a store. Gives me hope that they'll bring out the third one here as well.

Picked mine up yesterday. I'll play it at lunch today.

Picked up my copy today after work. This gives me an excuse to whip out one of the many, many "Luke getting raped" pictures.

Watch out Luke, Layton is hungry for little boy meat.

Grr!! This reminds me that I'm still only about halfway through Curious Village! Gotta finish that before I can get into this.

Despite my lethargy, count me among the devoted fans of Professor Layton. This is one of the best series that the DS has to offer.

I love the memo feature, saves me the trouble of dashing around the house looking for paper.

Very excited about this baby! One of the best series for the DS. Will get it soon! How is the difficulty ramping on the puzzles? Are they significantly tougher than Curious Village?
    SO not the Drama.

I haven't had an issue with a single puzzle thus far. Slide puzzles get on my nerves, but with some time, I usually get them figured out.

Yes, please finish the first one. Almost right off the bat there are story nods back to the first one. They won't be nearly as funny otherwise.

Had a couple of them stump me; I'm up to 42 solved. All in all though, I'd say these are easier than before.

I'll rent it for a weekend and be done with it, like I did with the first one.

Replay value is not a strong point here.

Not really, but there are some additional minigames in addition to the weekly DLC.

I think it's a title that earns its price tag, even if it's an $8 rental price tag.

You are aware that, if it's anything like the first one, the so-called "DLC" just sets a flag to make available puzzles that are already on the cart, right? There are probably hacked saves that unlock everything out there already.
