    Default Problems with PSP video

I am not sure if any of you have had this problem or not...but I can not seem to get a single video on to my PSP. I have tried everything, it just says "not compatible" They are all MP4 files also. Any thoughts?

PSP's are pretty picky about the kind of video they'll play. It's easiest to find a program that has a PSP preset and use that. A while back the program to use was PSP Video 9, but there might be something better now. I have Nero and it has PSP specific settings which I use with no problem.

I guess I am a bit confused...soo I get this Nero program, and it has a video converter for PSP?

What firmware are you using? On the older FW, you have to name the vids a certain way and put them in a special folder. Maybe that's your problem?

This is what I do, it might help:

Try encoding the .mp4 with h.264 video, AAC audio, and set the screen resolution as 320x240

Do you have the MP root file on your PSP? Also get psp video 9 and dvd shrink 9. Works wonders. Good tutorials on you tube for this topic.
