Back in the SNES/Genny days, I saw these in magazines all the time. I've Googled like crazy and I have found very few PS3/360 side-by-side screenshot comparisons. What's the deal? Anybody know where to find a good load of them?

side by side comparisons just aren't as worthwhile these days. In the SNES/Genesis (and hell, in the PS1/Saturn/N64) era, differences were a lot more noticeable (or games were just completely different, like Animaniacs, Powerslave, Duke Nukem 3D, etc). Anymore, the differences aren't quite as apparent.
Oh sure, it might be running in a slightly lower resolution and upscaled further or it might have a bit more antialiasing, but generally the biggest differences are a little more/less slowdown, hard drive installs and additional content. Not stuff that generally works well for side by side screenshot comparisons.

They should be comparing the console versions to the PC versions at high resolutions when possible to show you how much better the PC versions can look...
Haven't you heard? People don't care about graphics anymore. It's all about the gameplay these days
